The Underground Facilities Safe Excavation ("Dig Safe") Board improves public and worker safety by facilitating communication and learning among excavators and the operators of subsurface installations by investigating accidents to determine their causes.  The Board strives to be a model for other states to emulate.

Board Meetings

The Dig Safe Board typically has monthly meetings with the agenda available at least 10 days prior to the meeting date.  Board meetings are open to the public and are also available via webcast.

The Board's 2020 tentative meeting dates have been released and can be viewed here.  The next Board meeting is scheduled for September 9-10, 2019.


Annual Report to the Governor & Legislature
